A Remote Online Notarization (RON) closing is a eClosing where documents are electronically signed online in the presence of a notary who is authorized to perform remote online notarization via remote, two-way, audio-visual conferencing. RON closings have to performed though secure approved platforms that verify the identity of the signers and the documents.
